Knocking on the Hell’s Doors

Step by Step

I was looking for Dante’s Inferno (as you do, those days) on Amazon, and funly enough, one of the results that came up was this one. I guess the Divine Comedy has found its modern embodiment…

Hurricanes’ Names

I always wondered how the hurricanes were getting their names… Now I know! Interestingly enough, we also learn that:

[I]n the Atlantic and Eastern North Pacific regions, feminine and masculine names during a given season are assigned alternately, still in alphabetic order. The “gender” of the first storm of the season also alternates year to year. Six lists of names are prepared in advance, and reused on a six-year cycle.

I wonder why the number 6 is so important… I guess the Hell’s current landlord might have something to do with it (as well as the Templars, but that goes without saying).

Portadown News: Goodbye!

Goodbye to the Editor of the Portadown News. He’s kept really entertained when sometimes politics were so pathetic. Thank you so much for the laughter!

(No connection with Hell this time… Huh…)
